The mouse is a sharp pointed tool used for marking off material to fit closely to an irregular surface. The point of the tool is flush with the face and with the aid of a square edged block can be used to project lines from the top to the bottom of an irregularly shaped object. The scribe is a 3/16" dia. steel drill stock inserted at 23 degrees. This makes for an edge with an eliptical profile. It scribes very nicely and is easy to sharpen. The tool is 8.5" long and weighs 8.5 oz.
